Hi, friend! I'm Lauren Jacks, an Event Planner based in Detroit, MI. I've spent the past few years managing a portfolio of venues in the Central Business District of Detroit and prior to that, I assisted in wedding coordination and design with a wedding pro in Royal Oak, MI. Because I have experience in both social and corporate planning, I bring a high level of attention to detail and out-of-the-box creative ideas to every event I help plan.
You can find me either at the dog park or on a restaurant patio most days of the week. When I'm not at either, I'm probably making lattes in my apartment and planning my next great travel adventure; hit me up with your recommendations!
Some of my greatest accomplishments include being recognized with Michigan Meetings & Events as their 2020 Up and Coming Best Special Event Planner, being named Smart Meetings Magazine's Stellar Performer, coordinating food and beverage service for an outdoor ticketed holiday event for over 10,000 people, and birthing some fantastic relationships with my fellow industry friends.

Day-Of Coordination
For the couple that just needs assistance executing, the day-of package includes 2 consultations, 1 final walkthrough, setup and breakdown of décor and up to 12 hours on event day.

Full-service planning is available to clients needing assistance securing vendors, drafting the timeline, creating a vision board, and walking through all aspects of event design and logistics.

Event design is made available to clients from both corporate and social planning sectors who are looking to achieve their event goals or make their wedding vision come to life but need help with the creative side.
